Building your business will take time

In the last five posts I have shared with you some tips, that will take you and your business to another level.

  1. Get out of your comfort zone
  2. Get obsessed about your goals
  3. Develop a strong work ethic
  4. Have fun
  5. Make a conscious decision to never quit

However, there is no shortcut. This business is not a sprint. The opposite is the case, it is a marathon.

Think about it:

As long as you can keep a long-term outlook, in 3 to 5 years you can be living an incredible stress-free lifestyle. You’re going to be working anyway for the next 3-5 years, you might as well work at something that can change your life.

It takes time to build relationships. You need to develop trust and rapport with people. There is this famous saying “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”. Become a good listener. And one day, when you feel comfortable enough to approach them with the business opportunity … then people receive it, because they are listening.

Make A Conscious Decision To Never Quit

Tip #5 that will take you to another level:

As cliché as it sounds, it’s true that quitters never win and winners never quit. Just keep in mind that studies have shown that if you stick with your company for at least 10 years, and are actively engaged in your business, chances are you will be one of the top producing leaders in your company.

Everyone has his up and downs, but as long as you stay plugged in the system and don’t quit your business, you can pick up yourself with the help of the team around you. Don’t give up on yourself. Get inspired again. A good company will provide you some resources.

What have you learnt and achieved since you joined the company? Look back and see how much you have grown.

Stay plugged in

Quitters never win; winners never quit

Also, review why you have joined the business? What’s the big why for you? Keep reviewing your goals and vision board on a regular basis. Yes, things can change. But most likely you can describe your goal and cause in much more detail over time. Things become clearer. But things also can be forgotten, somewhere out of sight, because life comes in. Get back on track, refocus and refine your vision and goals.

To win this game, quitting is not an option. You should delete this word from your vocabulary. Stick with it, talk the language, get the business in you and persist. But firstly believe in yourself. You can’t disappoint someone else, only yourself.

Have Fun

If you plan on succeeding in this industry, you need to accept real fast that you are in the people attraction business. If you’re not having fun you won’t be able to attract people to you or your business. Now, I’m not saying that every single day will be fun because that would be misleading. However, I am saying that you need to enjoy the process and find a way to have fun. Think about it, would you follow you?

attract people to your business

Be the attraction!

Social and people skills can be really helpful with that. Spending the last years behind the computer, you will see where now my weakness is, people. Why do they not think like me? ;) A very good training place are networking events. My confidence to speak on this events grew over time. It won’t happen over night.

It really has to become a habit to talk to people. I easily fall back into the old trap, hiding behind the computer and communicating only via email.

So, how can this be fun? Listen to the person first, then adjust. Find something in common, that is really not so difficult. Leave the dark humour at home, at least when you meet people the first time. It can go just sooo wrong, trust me on this ;)

Make people feel good and important. They easily open up and they like to be around you. Meeting people once is not enough to stick in their heads. Turn up to the meetings again, talk to the same people and you might even find something new about them.

Being around positive people can be really uplifting. However, ground yourself again and back to work. There is a difference between social networking and business networking. You have to draw the line here. And yes, work can be fun :)

Get Obsessed About Your Goal

Tip 2:

Now, this doesn’t mean that you need to neglect your spiritual life or your family life. But, you need to think about and focus on what you want constantly. Brian Tracy, success coach and author, says that successful people are “future oriented” In other words, they’re focused on where they’re going and where they’ll be in 5 years. It’s because of this focus on what they want, that enables them to accomplish more than the average person.

You need to determine your reason why. Why do you chose to join a team or do this kind of business. This creates a picture of the future you want to attain. Match your dream with real pictures. Create your own personal vision board. you don’t need to share this with other, however it would force you a bit more to be accountable. This vision board becomes a constant reminder that you have made this commitment to yourself.

Picture Your Goal

Go and Get It

Setting a goal with a specific time point allows you also to determine milestones. This gives your journey a realist touch. You then know what you have to achieve in a month or in a week to be on track with your goal. This doesn’t not allow procrastination to occure, otherwise your goal moves further away again.

Remind yourself daily where you want to be in 1 month, 1 year and 5 years. This determines your day to day task list. Have you done something today that brings you closer to your goal? Yes – great tick it off your list, celebrate and move on to the next step. No – do it now if you are really committed to yourself! ;)

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

Building a business is not a sprint, we need to realize it is a marathon. And there will be up and down times. That’s life. I recently was given 5 tips that will keep you on track, given you have the patience and the commitment to make it happen.

Tip 1:

It’s been said that everything you want in your life, whether it’s in your business or in your personal life, lies outside of your comfort zone. Whether you’re trying to get in great shape or trying to have a great family, it takes a tremendous amount of effort to succeed. It’s no different with your business and your goals. Your success will require you to do things that most people wouldn’t do. However, if you do them, you’ll have a life that most people won’t.

What do you see outside of your comfort zone? Adventure or fear? Opportunity or uncertainty? A one-way or a return ticket? How big is your desire to succeed in life?

Distribution Industry – the new wave

Direct distribution - see the opportunity

Direct distribution

Paul Zane Pilzer, the author of the New York Times bestsellers God Wants You to Be Rich and Umlimited Wealth, teaches his students the following two principles of unlimited wealth in our economy.

  1. Over time, individuals can produce an unlimited amount of a single good or service by making use of the advancing technology that automatically results from specialization.
  2. The total overall wealth of a society is thus limited only by distribution: the number of individuals available to consume and trade their specialized produce and tools.

It is not about the products anymore … the most expensive part of a product is the delivery. And some entrepreneurs discovered this quite early. We have Sam Walton from Wal-Mart, distributing produce made by other companies. Fred Smith founded Federal Express and introduced planes to transport goods and not only people. I am sure the younger generation has heard about amazon. Jeff Bezos became an Internet billionaire by setting up an online platform to buy books, and now almost anything. And bookstores in general don’t have a physical distribution service.

Normal bookstores and shops educate people about what is available. But now sometimes people know more about a product than the actual store staff. Because people get education through TV, radio or internet. They want to shop in the most time efficient way to the lowest cost.

So where does the opportunity lie for us here? Paul Zane Pilzer predicts the Wellness Revolution. The opportunity lies in the health and beauty area combined with a distribution business.

Thus, teaching consumers about such products and services – intellectual distribution – is the greates entrepreneurial opportunity now and for the foreseeable future. – Pilzer

I really appreciate the educating part. Only the education about health, business etc. gives the education from school some kind of meaning. You don’t have to study economics to understand direct marketing. When you can cut out the middle men the product itself becomes so much cheaper. That’s direct distribution.

How to become a Super Star

Become a Superstar

Imagine to simply follow a guideline step-by-step and you become a Superstar -> guaranteed!

You think this is impossible?

I suggest you change your belief.

It is so simple, but it is not easy. Why? Because people love to take shortcuts or they think they know better. People struggle to commit to something especially when there is not immediate gratification. Discipline is also not everyone’s favourite. That’s why bHIP is not for everyone.

Network Marketing vs Internet Marketing

They finally came together. Internet marketing will help network marketing to get rid of its suffering reputation. So, what’s the story?

Network marketing is obviously around for much longer. The objections against network marketing are well know. Some are true and some are not true. Pyramid schemes exist everywhere in any institution and corporation. Every government is looking after illegal pyramid schemes. You can be assured that the majority of network marketing companies are a legal structure.

And yes, the network marketing business is not for everyone, same for every business. However, internet and network marketing can be very simple. If you are able to stick to a system and follow some rules, you can be successful in both areas. The only challenge you have is you need to find the right network marketing company that provides you the system. And also for Internet Marketing, find the people who have done it already and just follow their system, as long it is legal of course.

I guess I have been lucky with both. (LUCK = Location,Understanding ,Connection and Knowledge) bHIP has the right system in place Team in motion. it combines the best of Internet Marketing with Network Marketing. Use the prospect pipeline and duplicate yourself.

Similar, I am mentored by one of the word’s best Internet Marketers. His system is simple, but to succeed you have to be disciplined and committed.

Same principles in both marketing areas.

the business of the 21st century

Robert Kiyosaki - The business of the 21st century
Very proud to announce that I received the book I was waiting for. The Business of the 21st Century by Robert T. Kiyosaki. Just by flipping through the book I can see that this is the material I want to teach my team. As a successful business owner you have to be leader and a salesperson. And that’s exactly what Robert Kiyosaki is teaching.

“The economy is not the issue. The issue is You” – Robert T. Kiyosaki

This quote is such a kick in my axx .. because I was struggling today to do one single call. And yes .. it is me. I am blocking myself. My desire is not strong enough. I need to be reminded every single day in the morning and in the evening, until it is in me. It comes straight back to the quote of Terry LaCore, the founder and CEO of bHIP Global

You can’t believe in bHIP until you believe in yourself.
